Kathleen Feldman is a candidate for Ward 5 City Councilor with many practical ideas for building an even better Beverly. An experienced administrator and operations manager, Kathleen is deeply involved in the community, particularly in her home district of Ward 5, where she is PTO Treasurer for North Beverly Elementary School. She is also an active volunteer for the Beverly chapters of national organizations such as Family Promise and Boy Scouts of America, and as a Generosity Committee chair at First Parish Church. Her history of service to local communities includes a two-year stint with Jesuit Volunteers International, during which time she managed and taught an educational program for children in rural Tanzania. In her professional career, she has worked as a paralegal at one of the world’s largest law firms, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. More recently, she has served as an administrator and manager at the Wenham Museum and at the Association for Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts. Kathleen holds an M.B.A. from the State University of New York and a B.A. from Fordham University. She and her husband of more than a decade, Mike Keefe-Feldman, a Beverly native, have two wonderful sons, Arlo and Graham.
